Shobhit is a Programme Officer with the Technology and Society team at CCG. His interests lie in issues relating to the right to privacy, data governance, platform regulation and on the socio-political implications of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence. 

Prior to this role, he worked as a Research Fellow at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., New Delhi, where he researched primarily on regulations surrounding FinTech and on data protection in the financial-services sector. He has also previously worked as an Associate at Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co, advising clients on financial regulations. Shobhit holds a Bachelor’s degree in law from the WB National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata.
